News Corporation Promotes Julie Henderson to Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Strategy
Thursday 31. March 2011 - News Corporation today announced the promotion of Julie Henderson to the role of Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Strategy. Henderson has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, for News Corporation since 2007.
In this new and expanded position, Henderson will continue to play a key role in the Companys communications and public affairs activities, while adding new responsibility for driving greater value from the Companys vast portfolio of businesses.
Henderson will collaborate closely with key business unit leaders to expand the marketing influence of News Corporations extensive brands, maximize larger strategic content and distribution opportunities across the Company and enhance the value of key franchises through emerging digital platforms.

She has a wonderful combination of strategic insight and managerial leadership for this role.”
Henderson will report to Chase Carey in her corporate strategy capacity, and will continue to report to Teri Everett, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Communications for News Corporation in her communications role.
She joined News Corporation in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, for Fox Interactive Media. Henderson was elevated to the post of Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, for News Corporation in 2007, where she leads communications for the Companys West Coast operations.
