Speedmaster SM 102/CD 102 – User Report: Tien Wah Press (Pte) Ltd
Friday 25. March 2011 - 55 million impressions in the first 12 months at the new Speedmaster SM 102
Once again, the Speedmaster SM 102 has demonstrated its top-class performance. In June 2006, the Speedmaster SM 102-8-P was installed at the Tien Wah Press facilities in Singapore.
This is not the first time that Tien Wah Press has achieved such remarkable performance data. Back in 1998, Tien Wah Press’s first Speedmaster SM 102 eight-color long perfecting press has already clocked up 46 million impressions in 12 months. To-date, Tien Wah Press has in total a fleet of six Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102 long perfecting presses on its production floor.
Outstanding performance also with the new Speedmaster
CD 102-4 achieving up to seven million sheets in peak months
Alongside the above achievement, Tien Wah Press has also clocked significant mileage on their latest Speedmaster CD 102 four-color press, which printed at approximately seven million impressions in peak months. Over the years, the company has also invested in a fleet of Speedmaster CD 102 presses. Currently, it has a total of seven Speedmaster CD 102 presses on its production floor.
“While the outstanding features of Heidelberg Speedmaster presses have significantly boosted efficiency on the production floor, it’s the synergy of the presses together with Heidelberg service and support and Tien Wah Press operators that brought about such an outstanding achievement of high press productivity. This assurance of reliable and speedy output as well as top-notch print quality is also what our customers have come to expect of us”, says Mr. Foo Choon Nam, Pressroom and Bindery Manager of Tien Wah Press.
