Adept Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADEP), a leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with RMT Robotics, a Cimcorp Oy Company, allowing Adept to promote and sell ADAMTM mobile robot fleets to end users in core market segments such as automotive, electronics, life science, medical, and general manufacturing industries. This arrangement enables the Adept sales and distributor network to promote ADAM through their global channels with technical support, manufacturing, systems integration, and customer care for the complete solution provided by RMT Robotics.
The ADAM, powered by Adept Motivity, is a category-defining mobile robot that provides fully autonomous transport of goods in manufacturing applications. It is a unique, cost-effective, and expedient solution for product transportation propels automation to new levels of possibility.
