Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today announced two mid-volume document scanners that increase office productivity by scanning, e-mailing and copying documents with advanced document handling and image processing technology. The Xerox DocuMate 4799 and DocuMate 4790 are designed for easy operation in service bureaus, busy office environments and businesses with complex document scanning requirements.
Overcome Your Fear of Difficult Documents
The Xerox DocuMate 4799 delivers superior reliability and the most advanced functionality for high production environments. By employing three advanced sensor systems: ultrasonic double feed detection, stapled document detection and intelligent feed control, this innovative scanner ensures that documents of various sizes can be stacked together in the automatic feed tray and will be processed at scan speeds up 100 pages per minute.
The Xerox DocuMate 4790 is a dependable scanner for both large-volume and distributed scanning needs with a daily duty cycle of up to 10,000 sheets and scans up to 90 pages per minute. It is powered by Visioneer OneTouch scanning technology for simplifying scan jobs and workflows. The scanner also has an easy-to-read LCD screen with resolution, color mode, file type, processing and final destination of the scanned document.
“These new scanners perfectly round out the Xerox DocuMate product line,” said John Capurso, vice president of marketing at Visioneer. “Our scanner offerings now span from desktop document management solutions to production level solutions for back-office, high volume document capture applications.”
Equipment You Can Depend On
Designed for document capture and workflow, the Xerox DocuMate 4799 and DocuMate 4790 can deliver high-quality black and white scanned documents and office-quality color scanned documents to printing systems.
