UPM has launched two new recycled products to its postal range
Thursday 10. February 2011 - UPM constantly develops its papers and now has widened its postal product range with two new papers - UPM Poste Recycled Premium, a white recycled paper for envelopes and UPM PrePremium Recycled, a white recycled paper for preprint.
Both new products are ecological premium recycled envelope and preprint papers made of 100% recovered paper. UPM Poste Recycled Premium can be used for high quality bespoke and inserting envelopes and UPM PrePremium Recycled is meant for high quality transactional documents.
“The market has been asking for products made from recovered paper for some time already so we carefully assessed the kind of postal and office paper range with which to meet this demand. We felt that there was a need to expand the range and offer our customers new products”, says Renaud de Saint André, Sales Director at UPM France. “The customers want an integrated product range. In addition to envelopes, they also want the same shade of preprint and office papers to match. The new UPM Office Recycled premium we have also just launched and with these two papers we complete the range.”
Both products have the highest whiteness on the market in RCF papers – CIE 160. The whiteness and opacity are excellent and the smoothness level does not compromise the bulk. Good sheet formation enables an even printing quality. They have excellent runnability in all kinds of converting and inserting lines.
The papers have been granted the EU Ecolabel. They also have PEFC and FSC recycled label but are subject to availability. The papers are produced in UPM Docelles in France.
