Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. To Raise Prices for Phenolic Specialty Resins in Europe

Thursday 03. February 2011 - Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc., announced today that effective immediately, or as contracts allow, it will increase the price of phenolic resins and phenolic moulding compounds in Europe.

The respective price increases include:
Novolak Powders: +25%
Phenolic Moulding Compounds: +10%
Resols: +20%
This action is driven by cost increases of raw materials. It will allow Momentive Specialty Chemicals to continue providing a comprehensive service for the benefit of its customers.
