Eurolabel SRL adopts digital printing for the first time with an HP Indigo WS6000

Wednesday 22. December 2010 - HP today announced that Eurolabel SRL in Milan, Italy, has installed an HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press to offer customers the advantages of in-house digital label printing and to transfer some work away from the offset and flexo lines.

Eurolabel was founded in 1964 by Lidia Cattaneo, who is still running the company today together with her husband Eugenio Brambilla. Eurolabel has clients from almost all the main market sectors including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, chemicals, petrochemicals, industry, durable goods, mass distribution and logistics.
Eurolabel chose the six-colour configuration for its HP Indigo WS6000 in order to be able to print on transparent substrates and to achieve a closer match to Pantone colours. The Indigo technology also allows Eurolabel to offer its clients sleeves and labels on heat sensitive materials, for example thermal papers.
