Fusion Media Outsources Statement Printing, Mailing to SynTel, LLC

Monday 20. December 2010 - Cable Company Cuts Time Spent on Monthly Statements with SynTel Premier Solutions

Paragould, Ark.-based Fusion Media, a media services company in Northeast Arkansas, has contracted with SynTel, LLC’s Premier Solutions (SPS) to provide outsourced design, printing and mailing for the company’s more than 2,000 monthly invoices. After only three months, the company has already cut the time required needed to prepare bills by several hours per day.
Fusion Media selected SynTel’s SPS, which provides document design and delivery, to reduce the time required for their staff to spend on customer statements. Instead of managing the creation and delivery of statements at their office, Fusion Media simply sends SynTel an address file and the documents are printed, sorted and mailed by the required deadline each month.
“Fusion Media has a staff of only six people, and billing used to take us more than half a day to process each month,” said Vicki Miller, chief financial officer of Fusion Media. “With SPS, we just click a button to send our customer file to SynTel. They produce professional statements, print and mail them for us.”
Miller added that SPS not only improves the speed of statement processing, but the quality of the statements as well.
“Customer satisfaction has improved since we began working with SynTel,” Miller said. “They design the statements so that customers can more easily read amounts due, and we can insert items in the bills for cross-marketing and communicating important information.”
SPS improves the operations of mailing Fusion Media’s statements, while also reducing delivery costs and capital equipment investments.
“The design, printing, sorting and mailing of customer statements can be an expensive, time-consuming process for small companies,” said Harry Herget, co-founder and director of Marketing for SynTel. “SynTel’s SPS provides a way for companies who mail regular bills or statements, such as Fusion Media, to cost-effectively move the time and resources previously spent on billing to more profitable and customer-focused areas.”
