IDEAlliance Announces 2011 eMediaPro Certification Program Schedule
Friday 17. December 2010 - Program equips next generation of eMedia leaders
IDEAlliance announced today that its 2011 eMediaPro Certification Program is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. IDEAlliance launched its eMediaPro Certification Program in early 2010 to fill the digital media knowledge gap for print production and information technology professionals. More than fifty production and IT professionals have enrolled to become eMediaPros to assist their company’s transition from operating print-centric workflows to enabling eMedia production, including eReaders, mobile devices, and other digital technologies.
The 2011 eMediaPro Certification Program features recorded instructional sessions available online 24/7, along with expert-led live events, access to real-world case studies, and practical certification exams. Participants can join the course at any time and cover materials at their own pace. There is a significant price break for early registrants, available until February 13, 2011.
Program coordinator, Dianne Kennedy, Vice President of Emerging Technologies for IDEAlliance, commented “As publishers, advertisers and brand owners strive to keep pace with the shifting publishing and media markets, the question of cross-media publishing has moved from the theoretical to the urgently practical. Without the necessary workflows, companies are at risk of wasting millions of dollars on content migration for the Web, interactive and mobile publishing channels. In response, IDEAlliance has created an online professional certification program to equip the next generation of eMedia professionals as they transition their organizations’ print-centric workflows to include eMedia technologies.”
