American Greetings Announces Quarterly Dividend

Thursday 16. December 2010 - American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM) today announced a quarterly cash dividend of 14 cents per share to be paid on December 31, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 23, 2010.

The Board of Directors has chosen to expedite payment of this dividend due to the uncertainty of future tax rates on dividend income.
