Eastman Increases GLYCOL ETHERS Prices on January 1

Wednesday 15. December 2010 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

EASTMAN(TM) DE-HG Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) globally.
EASTMAN(TM) Eastapure DE Solvent : List and off-list price increase of $US 0.02 /lb ($US 0.02/lb ($US 0.044/kg) ) globally.
