WhiteHall Products Names Mike Russo President
Thursday 09. December 2010 - WhiteHall Products, a leading provider of single-use solutions including plastics, paper products and janitorial supplies, today announced that Mike Russo has been named President of the company. Russo, who has been CFO of WhiteHall Products since 1992, will be responsible for warehouse, accounting and customer service operations as the company continues to expand.
“After 20 years of doing ‘pretty good,’ it was time to shake things up a bit,” said WhiteHall CEO Joe Justin. “So I ‘fired’ myself as president and promoted Mike to help me take WhiteHall to the next level, doubling our sales within the next five years. That is a tall order, but Mike knows this industry better than anyone and has already implemented changes that are significantly improving our business.”
Prior to joining WhiteHall, Russo served as controller for Cleanse-Tec, a Brooklyn, NY chemical company. Before that he was field service supervisor for New York, NY-based computer company Mibar Enterprises. Russo received his BS degree with a major in computer science and minor in business from New York Institute of Technology. He received his designation as a chartered mutual fund counselor and passed the certified financial planning education program from the College of Financial Planning, Denver, CO.
“Being with WhiteHall almost since day one has given me the opportunity to help this company grow from the ground floor up,” said Russo. “WhiteHall has been a steady performer, building a diverse and loyal customer base and a reputation for innovation and outstanding customer service. The time is right to capitalize on this track record. I am eager for the chance to lead our day-to-day operations and confident that we will meet our growth goals.”
