Proposed new member of Royal DSM N.V. Supervisory Board
Wednesday 08. December 2010 - Royal DSM N.V., the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company headquartered in the Netherlands, today announces that at the next Annual Meeting of Shareholders on 28 April 2011, the Supervisory Board will propose to appoint Mrs. Pauline F.M. van der Meer Mohr as member of its Supervisory Board.
Mrs. Van der Meer Mohr (50, Dutch nationality) is currently President of the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before that she was the founder and managing partner of Amstelbridge Human Capital Strategies, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Group Human Resources of ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Group Human Resources Director of TNT N.V., and held several senior positions at the Royal/Dutch Shell Group of Companies. She earned a Masters degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution (cum laude) of the University of Amsterdam and a Masters Degree in Dutch Law of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
She is a.o. member of the Supervisory Board of ASML N.V., chair of the Supervisory Board of the Rotterdam School of Management, member of the Supervisory Board of Nederlandse School voor Openbaar Bestuur and also is a Director of the Hollandsche Maatschappij van Wetenschappen. Furthermore, Mrs. Van der Meer Mohr is member of the Economic Development Board of Rotterdam and member of the Duisenberg School of Finance Board.
Her appointment as a member of the DSM Supervisory Board will be proposed for approval to the next DSM Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 28 April 2011.
