Oce Business Services Ranked the Leading Document Process Outsourcing Provider Among the Global Top 50 Outsourcing Providers by the Black Book of Outsourcing
Tuesday 30. November 2010 - Oce Business Services, a leader in document process management and electronic discovery services, has been ranked among the top two document process outsourcing (DPO) providers for the past three years by the Black Book of Outsourcing annual client survey. This year brings another distinction: the Black Book's 2010 "State of the Industry" survey has ranked Oce Business Services as the leading document process outsourcing provider among the Global Top 50 Outsourcing Providers.
“Oce Business Services has been ranked among this year’s select group of Global Top 50 Outsourcing Vendors,” notes Eammon Kennedy, research director for Datamonitor, a world-leading provider of global business information and owner of the Black Book of Outsourcing. “Outsourcing services clients consistently ranked Oce high across all nine performance criteria. Oce received the highest ratings of any document process outsourcing vendor in three criteria that clients indicate are most important; Oce tied for the highest scores in two other performance criteria. Based on results, Oce is a leader when it comes to focusing on client service.”
The Global Top 50 rankings were based on results of an online survey conducted by Datamonitor between April 28 and Aug. 4, 2010. During the survey period over 6,500 responses from executives qualified to evaluate leading global outsourcing providers were received and accepted as valid according to Datamonitor’s comprehensive quality assurance process. The Top 50 companies were ranked against nine criteria of operational excellence: requirements awareness, shared goals, financial benefits, risk mitigation, partnership approach, problem resolution, corporate reputation, future orientation and skills and resources.
Oce Business Services received the highest scores of any DPO provider in the three criteria that respondents considered to be the most important. These include awareness of requirements – selected by the highest number of respondents – closely followed by the ability to resolve problems as and when they arise, and the skills and resources that providers can bring to the work they do on behalf of clients.
“Clients trust Oce Business Services to help them meet essential business goals such as reducing costs and improving the operational efficiency of their document management activities,” said Elizabeth Halaki, chief marketing officer, Oce Business Services. “We are gratified that the Black Book survey ranking affirms our commitment to helping clients achieve a higher level of performance.”
Earlier this year, Oce Business Services was named to the top-ranked Leaders category of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ (IAOP) 2010 Global Outsourcing 100 list. This is the fourth straight year in which Oce has been ranked a Leader on The Global Outsourcing 100.
