DELPHAX ANNOUNCES SALE OF FOLIOTRONIC PLUS TO AFRICAN TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER
Thursday 02. December 2010 - Delphax Technologies Inc announced that NSI (Nord Sud Industries), a technology provider for banks based in West Africa, has purchased a Delphax Foliotronic Plus finishing system for the high-volume production of check and payment books. The equipment is installed at the NSI facilityin Kigali, Rwanda.
Selected for its flexibility and robust system design, the Foliotronic is quickly adjustable to accommodate a variety of finished book sizes and thicknesses. With automatic trimming and cutting, the Foliotronic Plus system turns out printed and collated folios into cut and bound books at a rate of up to 2,000 per hour.
A new Delphax customer, NSI based in Brussels in Europe is an integrator of electronic payment solutions, offering a wide range of information technology equipment, software packages and technical assistance for banking and other financial organizations, as well as providing technology-enhanced production and processing of printed materials including tickets, checkbooks and other financial documents.
