The printer offers a full range of advanced design capabilities including an intuitive touchscreen display and "smart chip" auto-calibration of materials, effectively allowing the user to simply type the desired text and print.
“Our goal was to provide our customers with an advanced printing tool that anyone can walk up to for the first time and create a label without any prior training, and we’ve accomplished that with the BBP31 printer,” said Dr. Robert L. Tatterson, Brady vice president for research and development and chief technology officer. “This is the third major printer launch for Brady in the past year, and continues to round out and expand our line of easy-to-use printers including a low-cost handheld printer for use by electricians, a portable printer for maintenance and safety operations, and a benchtop printer for large or high volume signs, tags and labels.”
“The BBP31 printer is part of our strategy to further grow our market share in facility and electrical markets and increase customer loyalty by offering a durable and reliable family of proprietary printing solutions that provide a completely hassle-free user experience,” said Brady Americas President Matt Williamson. “Combined with Brady’s software and a wide range of Brady consumables, the BBP31 printer offers our customers a highly versatile solution for most industrial workplace labeling requirements.”
“The launch of the BBP31 Sign and Label Printer is the latest result of our commitment to invest in proprietary, innovative new products for our customers, which is an important part of our strategy for organic growth,” said Brady President and Chief Executive Officer Frank M. Jaehnert. “We will be expanding the launch of this product into the Asia-Pacific and European regions.”
