Ricoh to Provide MFPs and Printers at the APEC Japan Summit
Thursday 04. November 2010 - Ricoh Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shiro Kondo, Hereafter "Ricoh") will provide a total of 43 multifunction printers or MFPs and printers for output of printed matter at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit and associated meetings to be held at Yokohama from November 7 to 14. During the sessions, Ricoh and Ricoh Japan Corporation will work closely with Ricoh Technosystems Co., Ltd. and Ricoh Logistics System Co., Ltd to facilitate the progress of the meetings with a complete support system that includes 24-hour maintenance support.
Starting with the APEC Japan 2010 Symposium (held in Tokyo in December 2009), Ricoh has provided a total of 523 MFPs and printers to 14 conferences and meetings associated with APEC Japan and organized in every part of the country. With a valued track record of providing services with consistent nationwide support, in addition to arranging for a wide range of output equipment, even in the case of short-term engagements, Ricoh equipment and services were selected for the present APEC Japan Summit and Ministerial Meeting at Yokohama.
In the future, we will build on our track record and knowhow further on a global scale and develop other services such as building networks and providing IT services as we increasingly provide solutions for the short-term rental business including major international meetings.
