Asias Largest Conference on New Media Examines Online, Mobile, Tablets
Thursday 04. November 2010 - Asias largest new media conference - Digital Media Asia 2010 - will be bringing experts from around the world to Singapore later this month to examine the three digital distribution channels that are rapidly developing for publishers: online, mobile and tablets and e-readers.
The conference, to be held from 24 to 26 November, dedicates one day to each of these channels, focusing on the latest strategies and advice for content and revenue in the multimedia world.
The event, organised by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and hosted by Singapore Press Holdings, features some of the worlds most successful media companies in the digital realm: The Wall Street Journal, Nikkei (Japan), VG (Norway), The Nation (Thailand), Mid Day (India), The South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), the Financial Times, Yomiuri Shimbun (Japan), Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), WSJ and many more.
The events also include visits to the MediaCorp NewsHub and the SPH Multimedia Centre, presentation of the Asian Digital Media Awards, a workshop on creating better news pages for digital devices, a Digital Media Expo and the Asian Media Golf tournament.

Highlights of Digital Media Asia include:
Online Media Asia (24 November), which will focus on revenue generation beyond advertising and will feature case studies and creative strategies for generating new revenue streams online and through social media.
