Global Marketing Expands Digital Services by Leveraging the Versatility of its HP Indigo press 5500

Monday 18. October 2010 - Global Marketing, of Moscow, Russia, has developed a strong digital print business by leveraging the versatility of its HP Indigo press 5500. The company added a digital print capability in 2001 and the positive response caused the company to shift its strategy and focus on developing that side of the business. The installation of the HP Indigo press 5500 in 2009 immediately attracted further new business.

“Efficient order processing is a key part of our success as a digital print service provider,” said Aleksey Karagodin, co-owner, Global Marketing. “We use sophisticated web-to-print software to make it possible for our customers not only to place orders but to obtain information about the production status of their order whenever they want.”

This approach enabled Global Marketing to achieve a $4 million turnover within a year of installing the press with 60 – 70 percent of that total generated by the HP Indigo press 5500.

Global Marketing has used its HP Indigo press to secure orders from its 35,000-strong customer base. Remarkably, only 20 percent of turnover comes from agencies with the balance coming direct from end-users.
