ReadSoft delivers accounts payable automation solution to Australian government shared services provider
Monday 18. October 2010 - ReadSofts accounts payable automation technology has been selected by Service First, an Australian government shared services agency in New South Wales (NSW). The accounts payable solution will automate the handling of hundreds of thousands of invoices each year and the agreement is valued to 685,000 USD.
Rationalization within the government sector is driving shared service agencies to acquire systems and processes that enhance service levels and improve productivity efficiencies to deliver effective business services to clients.
Service First was looking for accounts payable automation technology that would drive cost savings and efficiencies through its accounts payable (AP) operation. ReadSoft, which has references from a number of government agencies, was the successful vendor in securing the contract.
The ReadSoft accounts payable automation solution will streamline efficiencies by automating the processing of invoices from arrival to payment – including invoice capture, matching, and automated workflow approval processes. The accounts payable automation solution also incorporates advanced reporting functions, giving immediate visibility into the accounts payable processes. This functionality provides the basis for a continuous improvement program that delivers improved service levels through optimized invoice processing and efficiency gains.
“More and more government organizations are recognizing the benefits of accounts payable automation solutions and ReadSoft has established a reputable standing in the Oceania shared service sector,” comments Jan Andersson, President and CEO at ReadSoft.
