Available in six different languages, the site is rich in functionality, featuring an interactive map that links to 140 distributor profiles globally and the new Solution Selector.
“The Solution Selector is a revolutionary but easy-to-use tool that enables users to pinpoint the selection of products that will meet their coding and marking requirements most effectively,” explains Corene Newbery, Web Project Manager at Domino.
After entering your input criteria, including the specific substrate and production speed, the Solution Selector cleverly tells you which Domino products are most suitable for your needs. “It suggests relevant options from Dominos extensive range of technologies, some of which they may not have been aware of before” says Corene.
For example, a customer that needs to apply a simple code directly onto metal cans on a high speed line, would be shown that Dominos continuous ink jet is the perfect solution. Or a customer in the pharmaceutical sector that needs to apply a 2D data matrix code onto boxes at 20-50m/min would find through the Solution Selector that a scribing laser or continuous ink jet coder would be most suitable, with some other possible options to consider.
