Konica Minolta Partners with the Association of Christian Schools International to Offer Improved Digital Imaging Capabilities to More than 5,000 Schools Worldwide

Friday 15. October 2010 - Member Schools to Access Advanced Document Management Expertise and Solutions from Konica Minolta as Affinity Level Partner

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announces a new multi-year partnership with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) to provide bizhub multifunctional products (MFP – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system) and solutions to meet the needs of ACSI’s network of affiliated schools. By becoming an exclusive ACSI Affinity level partner, Konica Minolta will help educate member schools on how best to optimize the performance of their digital imaging solutions in order to better accomplish their individual school missions.

With nearly 5,300 schools in 106 countries across the globe, ACSI, the world’s largest association of Protestant schools, seeks partnerships with carefully selected companies to bring heightened value, expertise and knowledge to their member schools. After working with Konica Minolta to plan consolidation and improvements to print and copy functionality at ACSI headquarters in Colorado Springs, Co., it was apparent that Konica Minolta could also provide the necessary support at the individual school level. ACSI saw a need for the schools to reassess their document management and digital imaging practices in order to address weaknesses in such areas as efficiency and security. By becoming one of only eight Affinity level partners, Konica Minolta is now available to all ACSI member schools to provide bizhub products and solutions with the most suitable and cost-effective solutions.

“Document services have certainly evolved and opened up a whole new area of growth for our association and our member schools, and we needed to identify a partner that could provide not only the best products, but also the education to our schools on how to make the right choices and implement them,” said Jan Stump, Executive Director for Corporate Partnership Development and Public Relations, ACSI. “The experience and support from Konica Minolta will enable us to enhance our way of doing business and also improve how our schools can best meet the needs of their students.”

As part of launching the long-term partnership with ACSI, Konica Minolta will also host informational and educational webinars over the next year regarding digital imaging, document management and Konica Minolta products and solutions. ACSI hosts 27 conventions and decision-maker conferences annually for board members, school administrators and schoolteachers at which information on partners including Konica Minolta will also be available.

“Working closely with ACSI, we have developed a comprehensive approach to how print and imaging capabilities can be drastically improved across their entire network and will provide them with the necessary information and tools to spread this opportunity to each and every school,” said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. “We look forward to the continued success of this long-term partnership as we strive to ensure that customers can count on Konica Minolta for all their digital imaging needs.”
