Leading Business Process Outsourcing Firm Selects Kofax for Capture Solution

Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of document driven business process automation solutions, today announced it will provide a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) firm with an enterprise document capture solution. The value of the contract to Kofax exceeds $3.9 million.
The firm, a leading provider of information management services, including records management, shredding, online backup and digital archiving, will deploy Kofax Capture and Kofax Communication Server in its document management services (DMS) division to scan and capture approximately 1 billion invoices, checks, legal forms, claims and various financial related documents received annually from 140,000 customers throughout the world. The Kofax software will support the BPOs “scan to store” initiative by enabling the company to capture documents and route them to its IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) repository. The solution will enable the BPO firm to better service its customers by streamlining manual operations, providing enhanced data quality and reducing costs.
