Etheridge Printing Chooses Heidelberg for the Long Haul
Wednesday 06. October 2010 - Etheridge Printing in Dallas, Texas reports the installation of a Stahl USA B26 3-station, 4 combination buckle-plate, continuous-feed folder to meet tighter customer delivery schedules by increasing capacity and speed in the bindery. A
ccording to vice president of manufacturing Ron Clower, the new folder already has yielded productivity improvements in the neighborhood of 50 percent. Beyond that, Clower said, “Its a good, dependable machine we know will perform well and last a long time.” Etheridge operates a host of Heidelberg equipment, including four additional Stahlfolders, a POLAR 115 X cutting system, and four 40″ Heidelberg presses: a Speedmaster CD 102 six-color press, a Speedmaster SM 102 six-color perfector, a Speedmaster SM 102 four-color perfector, and a Speedmaster SM two-color perfector.
Founded in 1898 by Patrick Etheridge, Etheridge is the oldest printing company in Dallas still operated by its founding family. The company currently employs a staff of 75.
