PaperCo to supply resource saving statements for printers

Friday 16. July 2010 - Printers using 9lives "born again" paper from PaperCo can now be supplied with an A4 environmental statement giving the specific savings the product has achieved in reducing landfill, litres of water, electricity, CO? and wood for a given job.

“End users are increasingly demanding evidence of the environmental credentials of their print supplier and the products and processes used to produce their job,” says Charles Eaton, head of marketing for PaperCo. “This statement can be added to any printed documents, such as Annual Reports, brochures, CSR documents etc demonstrating to stakeholders that a conscious effort has been made to choose a recycled stock and, as a result, reduced the amount of resources used. It will also be useful for printers working towards or needing to maintain their ISO 14001 environmental accreditation.”
The statements are available for anyone using 9lives 100, 9lives 80, 9lives 55, 9lives Offset and 9lives Preprint. The customer e-mails 9lives@paperco.co.uk and they will be sent a short form to complete and then the statement will be produced and sent to them.
