Success and a Sign Up for Edale and AGFA at the Digital Label Summit
Tuesday 13. July 2010 - Edale, the UK-based manufacturer of narrow web printing and converting presses, are delighted with the positive enquiries that were received during their time at the Digital Label Summit, held on 29-30 June 2010 in Barcelona, Spain. The show proved to be an excellent platform for Edale to expand further into the field of Digital Printing.
Edale exhibited at the conference with their Spanish distributors, Sercoyse, and their partners in Digital Printing, AGFA Graphics, to promote the Digital Printing side of the business. Since 2004, Edales close collaboration with AGFA has resulted in the development of the :Dotrix Modular, a highly flexible hybrid digital printing solution. AGFAs single pass UV inkjet printing technology combined with Edales web transportation, flexo printing and converting expertise means that the :Dotrix modular is recognised as the benchmark for single pass UV inkjet printing.
During the show, Edales Export Sales Director, Bernhard Grob, and AGFAs Head of Sales and Marketing, Jan de Vooght, were speakers on the subject of Getting from print to finished product where they discussed new finishing options and technologies for sleeve labels and flexible packaging through to finishing and converting solutions for cartons and boxes and wine bottle top capsules.
There was another exciting partnership formed during the show and that was the news that Sercoyse had signed a deal to become distributors for AGFA products in their territory (Portugal & Spain), so they will now be representing AGFA :Dotrix alongside Edales full product portfolio.
