PaperCo rolls out its own brand digital silk stock

Thursday 01. July 2010 - PaperCo is now rolling out its 9lives Digital Silk paper which is an ideal stock for digital printing on machines like the HP Indigo and Kodak Nexpress. This fits with the merchant’s focus on developing its 9lives "born again" range and increasing the stock options available to the burgeoning number of digital printing technology users.

“This product was initially launched on the Government Framework but we are now promoting it to the wide printing market, having seen just how popular it will be,” says Charles Eaton, marketing manager for PaperCo. “It uses 100% FSC post consumer recycled fibres and saves 25% of the CO? associated with virgin grades. The paper’s surface quality, high brightness and printability competes with the best virgin coated grades on the market.”
9lives 100 Digital Silk can be used on offset as well so is excellent for printing which involves a mix of technology and it can run with conventional, UV and infra red inks. Sheets are available in a range of SRA3/SRA3+ formats (320 x 450 and 320 x 460mm in weights of 115gsm up to 350gsm.
Typical applications for the stock include brochures, direct mail, publications, flyers and variable data documentation.
