Heidelberg dissects the colour issues at ISO 12647-2 seminars
Wednesday 23. June 2010 - Heidelberg is offering four free seminars to printers wanting to understand the ISO 12647-2 print standard and the differences between accreditation, certification and job verification. In addition to tips and tricks for achieving and maintaining top colour quality, the seminars will also look at how colour management can help reduce makeready times and waste.
Steve Fowler, colour specialist at Heidelberg UK, says: “Quality can be a key differentiator in todays market as well as an important step forward in lean manufacturing. Knowing how you can work to ISO 12647-2, which is becoming the accepted European colour standard, is critical to printers wanting to have a look in on an increasing number of print contract tenders. Printers want to know how to attain, maintain and prove their colour capability and with these seminars Heidelberg hopes to set them off on the right track.”
The events will be held at:
Heidelberg UKs Brentford headquarters on Tuesday 20 July with options of attending either the 10am-12.30pm or 2pm to 4.30pm session
