Fujifilm and Krause formalise strategic UK relationship at Ipex
Thursday 03. June 2010 - Fujifilm and Krause-Biagosch GmbH today announce a strategic relationship in the UK and Ireland.
The two organisations have worked together for many years, resulting in a large number of CtP installations throughout the UK & Ireland utilising Krause equipment with Fujifilm Brillia plates. This long-standing collaboration is now a formal relationship with Krause appointing Fujifilm as its UK and Ireland market channel. This follows similar moves across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
Customers will continue to receive a strong customer service and support function provided by Direct to Plate Ltd, Krauses existing sales, service and support wing in the UK.
This partnership will benefit customers looking for a one-stop-shop solution and is already delivering better technical performance to customers due to existing developments and the ongoing partnership at R&D level. An example of this work is Fujifilms lo-chem Brillia PRO-VN newspaper plate which, when used in conjunction with the Krause LS Jet platesetter and Bluefin lo-chem plate processor, provides todays newspaper printer with the leading environmental solution for newspaper production. This solution eliminates water usage as well as reducing chemistry usage by up to 70% with a reduction in energy usage of up to 40%.
Stefan Beke-Bramkamp, sales & marketing director at Krause, comments: “Were delighted to be pooling resources with Fujifilm in the UK. In addition to our existing long-standing relationship with DTP Ltd., this partnership can only benefit our customers by making official what has long been a tacit understanding between the three organisations to provide industry-leading, technologically advanced solutions for newspapers.
