Presteligence Closes 3 Production Workflow Deals in May
Wednesday 02. June 2010 - Sandusky Register, Lenoir News-Topic, and Shelbyville News purchased Presteligences NewsXtreme products for their prepress production workflow.
Sandusky Register selected NewsXtreme for production workflow as a result of regionalizing the printing of their sister paper, Norwalk Reflector. They currently manage their production through a home grown imposer application and a rip. The paper was faced with either adding more employees or adding an automating workflow to accommodate the additional work. NewsXtreme LITE will be installed this month and configured to drop the plates to their existing AlfaQuest CTP devices.
News-Topic (Lenoir, NC) and Shelbyville News (IN) both part of Paxton Media, will employ NewsXtreme LITE as part of their transition to CTP and the SLP CTP Alliance. The system is already in live production in Shelbyville. Shelbyville News is running their daily along with commercial work through NewsXtreme and the system outputs pages to its archive and Presteligences Adinfinitum FTP for electronic tearsheets.
