REGULUS shows inkjet media with clearly more improved performance

Friday 21. May 2010 - A large number of printing media for large format printing show a decisive weakness under operating conditions: they are slowing down the productivity of printing and subsequent treatment. Almost every printing service provider knows the following scenarios from his daily work:

– modern large format printing systems that are unable to print in the most productive printing mode because drying times are too long or the temperature sensitivity of the film does not allow sufficient heating temperature.
– high personnel expenses and too much required space, because unsupervised roll-to-roll processing is not feasible, and the finished print has to be laid out to dry instead.
– too long project processing times, as waiting times of more than 24 hours are necessary before laminating in order to get the solvent out of the material.

At the FESPA in Munich, REGULUS will present the next generation of inkjet media intended to make a significant contribution to increasing productivity. The manufacturer’s latest insights into surface coating, film flat-lying properties and ink compatibility were taken into consideration in the development of innovative product solutions for water, solvent and latex-based printing systems. The created products are making their world debut and will be presented to the specialist visitors for the first time on the Regulus exhibition stand (Hall B2/100).
