Dainippon Screen and InfoPrint Solutions Inkjet Printing System Leads Industry
Tuesday 11. May 2010 - More Than 200 Presses Have Been Installed and Are Running in Production
Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd and InfoPrint Solutions Company (Headquarters: Colorado, USA; hereafter referred to as IPS; President and CEO: Daisuke Segawa) today announced that the cumulative sales and installations of the Screen Truepress Jet520 and IPS InfoPrint 5000 have now passed the 200 mark worldwide.
IPS selected Screen’s drop-on-demand inkjet technology as the best balance in addressing customer high-speed production requirements after an in-depth review of all inkjet technologies available, or in development. The Truepress Jet520 and InfoPrint 5000 are used in a broad variety of applications, ranging from account statements to books and newspapers, in the printing industry worldwide. As a result, since 2007, Screen and its partner, IPS, have sold and installed more than 200 continuous-feed color inkjet presses as of the end of March 2010.
Screen looks forward to continuing to deepen its connection with IPS while using the companies’ combined technological strengths and expertise to actively pursue superior solutions for customers demanding high-end quality.
