Edale restructures Sales & Marketing team

Friday 07. May 2010 - Edale, the UK’s leading manufacturer of narrow web flexographic presses and converting machinery, has recently undergone a complete re-structure internally within its Sales & Marketing Department. Instead of sitting back on their laurels, Edale has hit back at the current global climate by bringing in a new team of people to help expand the Edale brand on a much larger scale.

Alongside Edale’s Sales Directors Adrian Morton and Bernhard Grob, sits Jeremy Westcott, newly appointed Head of Sales & Marketing. Jeremy says “I’m delighted to be able to make these new appointments, and create these three new roles, another example of Edale’s commitment to the print industry, in which we can now focus on delivering Edale’s next stage of growth and development, which for 2010 will begin in March with the launch of the newly-developed Alpha-Multi”. Jeremy has a history with Edale starting off as Sales Engineer back in 2006, before moving over in to the construction industry for a while as Product Manager, he later returned to Edale in November 2009 in his new role.
Sitting alongside Jeremy in the new team, is Jessica Gong, Marketing Communications Executive, coming from a marketing background, both academically and professionally, Jessica joins us with three years marketing experience within the cruise and travel industry, and before that a couple of years working in Advertising at a publishing house. Jessica will be responsible for driving Edale forward by increasing brand awareness through all media opportunities.
Louise Oakley, Sales Support Executive, joins us from the education sector where she worked for two years within a Marketing department after graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Chichester. Louise will focus on building the Edale brand and machine sales, and going forward will work closely with our customers and distributors alike, Louise has already been successful in the pre-launch to the Alpha-Multi press and has been instrumental in ensuring the Open House Events in early March are fully attended.
Working alongside Louise is James Cowles, who has been at Edale for a year already, recently moving across into the Sales and Marketing arm, from the Technical department into the role of Sales Project Engineer, predominantly dealing with solutions based sales and identifying new business opportunities. Before his time at Edale, James worked a year in industry in an engineering capacity, and then took a gap year where he spent the majority of his time sailing around Australia, and competing in regional sailing competitions.
