BASF increases prices for polymer dispersions, powders and resins

Tuesday 30. March 2010 - Effective April 1, 2010, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in Europe, Africa and Western Asia for styrene-acrylic and straight-acrylic dispersions by €180 per metric ton, for styrene-butadiene dispersions by €180 per metric ton and for resins and redispersible polymer powders by €250 per metric ton.

The price adjustments are necessary due to significantly increased raw material costs.

The products affected by the price increase are used as polymers for adhesives, fiber bonding, architectural coatings and construction chemicals.
