BlackRock, Inc. holdings in Metso decreased to 4.85 percent

On March 19, 2010 BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421, SEC CIK Code#: 0001364742) holding in shares of Metso Corporation fell below the 5 per cent threshold. The holding amounted to 7,298,453 shares, which corresponds to 4.85 percent of the total amount of shares and votes in Metso Corporation, after being, on the basis of their previous announcement, 5.03 percent on February 24, 2010.
