INTERNATIONAL NEWSPAPER GROUP ANNOUNCES 2010 CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN CHICAGO DURING GRAPH EXPO
Wednesday 17. March 2010 - Conference to Provide Ideal Complement to Debut of News Print Pavilion at GRAPH EXPO
The International Newspaper Group (ING) has announced its 2010 conference will be held in Chicago this fall in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO 2010. ING’s conference is slated to kick off on Saturday, October 2, 2010, the day before the opening of GRAPH EXPO. GRAPH EXPO 2010, the year’s largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas, will take place October 3 – 6, 2010, in Chicago’s McCormick Place South. The ING Conference will be co-located with GRAPH EXPO 2010 in McCormick Place.
ING, a non-profit organization composed of newspaper production managers, executives and industry suppliers, will hold a day-and-a-half long conference to exchange information on the latest business challenges and technology impacting the newspaper production process. It cited GRAPH EXPO’s addition of the brand-new News Print Pavilion, as well as its education and networking focus, as a valuable accompaniment to its conference.
ING’s decision to hold its annual conference in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO is part of a strategic relationship between ING and the Graphic Arts Show Company. “That a leading industry group such as ING has decided to hold its annual conference in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO is a testament to the commitment that GRAPH EXPO has demonstrated toward the newspaper production industry,” said Ralph Nappi, President of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). “The ING conference is a perfect complement to the debut of the News Print pavilion at GRAPH EXPO. This relationship will help us build a particularly strong program and robust show floor for the many newspaper industry professionals who regularly attend GRAPH EXPO.”
Recognized as the commercial printing, publishing, mailing and transactional exposition for the Americas, GRAPH EXPO 2010 themed, “The Next Generation of Print,” has been designed to offer a customized show-going experience for a diverse spectrum of attendees from 11 key market segments.
