Offset Printing
Goss International highlights opportunities for rapid ROI at Graphics of the Americas 2010
Wednesday 10. February 2010 - From its diverse range of web offset solutions, Goss International will put the spotlight on technologies providing opportunities for rapid Return on Investment (ROI) at the Graphics of the Americas Expo & Conference 2010 (GOA) in Miami, February 25 to 27.
Exhibiting on booth #1043, Goss International will present press and finishing equipment, as well as Goss Lifetime Support aftermarket solutions especially suited for newspaper and commercial production requirements in Latin America. These include single-width Community SSC and Magnum newspaper presses with heatset, coldset and UV printing capabilities. For commercial applications, emphasis will be on the 16-page M-500 and
M-600 press systems, the 4×4 Goss M-800 press and the highly automated Sunday press series. Goss International will also highlight finishing systems offering optimal net throughput, versatility and personalization.
In January, Goss International assumed responsibility for sales and support of Akiyama products in the United States and Canada. Members of the Akiyama team have joined the Goss International organization and will be at Graphics of the Americas to present information on Akiyama products, including Jprint and Mega Jprint sheetfed perfectors.
“This range of products provides printers and publishers with a distinct advantage when it comes to specifying precisely the right equipment for their individual requirements,” according to Ernesto Oliveira, vice president of sales for Goss International in Latin America. “GOA 2010 provides a great opportunity for us to connect with customers and advise on getting the right configuration to maximize productivity, efficiency and quality – whether that is through investment in a new press or enhancement of existing equipment.”
Goss Lifetime Support program
An experienced technical staff will be available at Graphics of The Americas to discuss Goss Lifetime Support services for rapid ROI. These services range from press enhancements, such as paper width reductions, digital inking, low cost controls upgrades and Triliner conversions, to audits, rebuilds and unique parts and service programs. “Along with providing new systems, we remain focused on cost-effective opportunities to extend the competitive lifespan of existing equipment,” according to Oliveira.
Goss International established a direct sales and support organization in Brazil in 2009 and extended its agreement with Heidelberg Mexico for representation in that country.
