Reorganization within the management structure of Edipresse Group
Monday 01. February 2010 - As part of Edipresse Group's management structure reorganization, Gregory Blatt, Managing Director for Marketing, Communications and Strategy will leave the company at the end of January 2010. Pursuant to this date, Gregory has accepted to maintain several mandates for Edipresse Group, in particular overseeing the commercial and marketing activities of the company?s Spanish subsidiary Focus Ediciones.
Gregory Blatt has been with Edipresse for almost five years. During this time, he was a key pillar in the Group’s business development activities. Within his responsibilities in the area of strategy, he worked alongside both the Chairman and the Chief Executive in building out the print and digital portfolios of the group in markets where the company was present, as well as in new territories. He actively participated in several launches and oversaw the Group’s licensing (in-bound and out-bound) agreements. Gregory Blatt was instrumental in the establishment of Edipresse Luxe, the Group’s luxury, fashion and watchmaking entity. On the communications and marketing side, Gregory Blatt represented Edipresse in numerous international circles of publishers. He also elaborated and put into place a global communications strategy and worked with the Group?s key affiliates in conceiving innovative media solutions to key accounts.
Gregory Blatt played a valuable role in the Group’s international expansion efforts. The Board of Directors of Edipresse is grateful to Gregory Blatt for his outstanding commitment and the quality of his contributions.
