Evonprint adds more plate power with a Suprasetter 75
Friday 29. January 2010 - Evonprint has added a second CtP device to keep all three Speedmaster XL 75 and SM 74-10-P ten colour perfectors running and to meet customer demand for quality, quick turnround work.
The Small Dole, West Sussex, company has added a Suprasetter 75 with Single Cassette Loader with a 33 plates an hour output capacity to run alongside its existing Topsetter, a 16 plates and hour device. Both are thermal devices. In the UK thermal holds about two-thirds share of the plates market.
Cassette loading has gained ground significantly over recent years. Today printers expect their CtP devices to offer more automation, greater speed and good workflow links. The Suprasetter was developed and is produced by Heidelberg at its Wiesloch plant.
Evonprint uses plates supplied by Heidelberg which tests all consumables in its range prior to sale. It provides a full gamut of quality-perfomance-cost products.
Evonprint handles magazines and general commercial work, half generated from London and half from the Home Counties. It also has a niche in government work, institutions, trade organisations, museums and galleries. The company is a 24 hour, five day a week business.
