Wednesday 16. December 2009 - WoodWing Software and celum are teaming up to offer integrated solutions reaching from the management of digital assets to production of print and online publications.

celum, a well-known provider of powerful enterprise-level Digital Asset Management systems, and WoodWing Software, a leading developer of versatile crossmedia publishing solutions , have joined forces in the fields of technology, sales and marketing.

Content Station, a key component of WoodWing’s Enterprise content publishing system, is a next-generation multichannel publishing tool that allows editors to plan, create, manage and publish their content using a single application. celum IMAGINE is a complete range of top-notch products for efficient server-based Enterprise Digital Asset Management of images, videos and other media files.

“The technology partner network of celum is growing rapidly and so is celum’s market presence,” said Michael J. Kraeftner, CEO of celum. “This new cooperation enables both WoodWing and us to tap new resources and to gain competitive advantages in technology as well as by joint marketing activities.”

Hans Janssen, CEO of WoodWing Software, added, “Since the very beginning, WoodWing has opted for a distributed strategy working with technology partners instead of developing all functionality in-house. Each of our partners delivers state-of-the-art technology, focused on one or more aspects of the desired solution. So we are continuously looking for integrations with first-class solutions like celum IMAGINE in order to enable our customers to choose the best and most economic components available for a certain task.”

The two companies also plan cross-marketing and sales activities. celum and WoodWing will offer solution packages to WoodWing´s authorized solution partners worldwide and the global network of celum Implementation Partners. The companies also plan road shows and a joint presence at trade shows.
