SGIA announces the 2010 Printed Electronics and Membrane Switch Symposium (Phoenix, May 18-20) – the premiere educational event for the growing technical segment of the specialty imaging industry.

New this year, the Symposium will feature a Keynote presentation by Robert Tarzwell, an Independent Consumer Electronics Consultant, who will address polymer thick-film and Cu flex circuit industry markets. Additional presentations will be focused within several topics, such as:
-Weathering and destructive testing of printed membrane switches
-Precision material deposition for printed electronics
-Curing and connectivity for printed electronics
Check the Symposium Web site for educational program updates.

“The 2010 Symposium now encompasses all of the printing methods and product applications driving our industry,” said Ray Greenwood, SGIA’s Technical Services Associate. “Attendees will learn from industry experts about today’s most advanced technologies and will have access to industry sources and ideas that will help them advance their businesses.”

On top of a jam-packed educational program, attendees can connect with many distributors and manufacturers, who will demonstrate the latest technologies and applications in the exhibit area. There also will be plenty of networking opportunities during session breaks and at the buffet dinner to make new contacts and talk with industry peers about innovative business solutions.

Plan now to attend the only industry event tailored to the needs of the printed electronics and membrane switch industry.
