Christian Merl Becomes Gruner + Jahr Press Spokesman and Deputy Head of G+J Corporate Communications
Wednesday 25. November 2009 - Christian Merl, 38, has been appointed press spokesman for Gruner + Jahr AG with effect from 1 January 2010. In his new role, he will be responsible for press relations for the G+J Germany and International divisions. He reports to Claus-Peter Schrack, Head of Corporate Communications at Gruner + Jahr, and will serve as his deputy.
Claus-Peter Schrack said: “Christian Merl has familiarized himself
comprehensively and with great dedication with the manifold tasks of G+J’s
corporate communications over the past six months, and has progressively taken
over and managed external communications projects. He has all the necessary
qualifications for successfully mastering the challenging and diverse
responsibilities of press relations. I look forward to continuing to work with
him.”
