AUTOBOND STRENGTHENS SALES IN GREECE
Monday 23. November 2009 - UK manufacturer Autobond has strengthened its sales, service and support in Greece with the appointment of NCA Hellas in Athens, which provides a wide range of finishing equipment to sheet-fed printers throughout the country. Autobond has been designing and building laminators for more than 30 years and is a leader in laminating technology, with equipment in use in more than 150 countries.
“The majority of our sales are direct with the factory in Derbyshire but we are represented in certain parts of the world where it is beneficial to have local support,” says managing director John Gilmore. “During all our dealings with NCA Hellas weve been extremely impressed by its knowledge of the local market, integrity and eagerness to represent Autobond.”
NCA Hellas managing director is Nick Karamalikis. “I already knew of Autobond and its excellent reputation and over the years have watched with great interest as it has pushed forward the boundaries of laminating technology,” he says. “We reached a stage in our development where we wanted to take on a sheet-fed laminator from one of the industrys leading manufacturers and so we approached John Gilmore about working together.
“Were delighted that we are now representing Autobond in Greece. No other laminator manufacturer can match its product portfolio, which incorporates options such as UV varnishing, perfecting, the application of magnetic material, embossing etc. The build quality and reliability of Autobonds laminators are unrivalled and the company can tailor a machine to suit a customers particular requirements. Even before we have officially announced our appointment we have had several approaches from printers requesting more information,” says Mr Karamalikis.
