Thursday 05. November 2009 - Mühlbauer presents its new HYPRINT 50 at Cartes 2009
Cartes Paris, held from November 17th to 19th at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, is the worlds leading event for digital security and smart technologies. The Mühlbauer Group, technology partner for smart card, e-Passport and RFID solutions, will present its new desktop card personalization system HYPRINT 50, the worlds first solution for combined laser and dye sublimation printing within one compact machine setup, at its booth no. 4P028.
Compared to other desktop card issuance systems in the market, Mühlbauers HYPRINT 50 is the solution to efficiently support various card applications up to highly secure ID cards. The engraving of polycarbonate cards with a high quality air-cooled greyscale laser – inclusive swiveling unit – is directly possible. An integrated suction system cares for the operators health. In addition, the HYPRINT 50 is able to integrate modules for contact based and contactless chip encoding, magstripe encoding, vision control – inclusive OCV ad OCR data recognition – as well as lamination of security foils. A turning station allows the processing of card front and back side in one personalization circle.
The HYPRINT 50 collaborates with the proven open universal personalization platform Mühlbauer MCES for effective and efficient handling of the data. For security matters the machines touch screen terminal can be locked with a fingerprint sensor. The maximum throughput is up to 150 cards per hour.
At its booth no. 4P028 at Cartes 2009 in Paris, Mühlbauer additionally presents two products out of the new “ecoline” – one for chip module lamination and one for combined milling & implanting of smart cards. Visitors can also get their own sample passport, realized by a turnkey solution for biometric data enrollment, management and security as well as a desktop issuance system for laser ePassport personalization. RFID-interested people can discuss with Mühlbauer experts about RFID inlay and label production, application development and know-how transfer.
