PRATI generates sales and leads at Labelexpo Europe 2009
Tuesday 20. October 2009 - Visitors from across the world flocked to PRATIs booth at Labelexpo 2009 to discover more about the companys latest label finishing innovations. The event was a huge success for PRATI, with the company selling 19 of its machines and generating a large number of leads following huge interest among delegates.
Chiara Prati, Sales Manager, PRATI, says that the results of the exhibition far exceeded the companys expectations: “Labelexpo is the perfect event for us to meet up with our customers and partners from all over the world. After introducing our latest range of solutions for line-end label production and flexible packaging, together with a host of other technological innovations, weve established ourselves as one of the market leaders.”
The main attractions at PRATIs stand were its top of the range products: the VEGAplus 450 and 530, which can effortlessly convert paper and filmic webs, and the VEGAplus LF330 Booklet for producing booklet labels offline.
The VEGAplus is a highly versatile and modular system that can be equipped with an unwind, automatic register die cutting station for pre printed labels, an inspection unit, a rewind, printing heads and additional finishing devices. With its high level of automation, this machine proved very popular with South African VR Print and the Danish Labelco label printers.
Delegates were impressed with the robust quality of the PRATI systems and the sophisticated components used in the machines. All of the companys products provide users with an easy-to-use interface, accuracy in web tension, high productivity, and a reduced need for consumables and ongoing maintenance.
It was the combination of excellent technical performance and advanced features that prompted Italy-based Grafiche Pagani to invest in the SATURN TE330 inspection machine; while Saudi Printing & Packaging Company, from Saudi Arabia, opted for the TE400.
Spanish print house, Graficas Varias, was won over by the JUPITER TC450 inspection machine’s versatility – its the only machine on the market that has three different tension types for rewinding, making it suitable to all kinds of material. The new 450mm format can process labels for every market segment, including food and beverages, cosmetics and personal care, and household cleaning.
Meanwhile, the preview presentation on the PH330 PHARMACHECK system stirred great interest. The revolutionary modular control system comes with video controlled cutting features and guaranteed double label inspection capacity. The production version of the machine is expected to be launched in the second half of 2010.
