Le Dauphiné Liberé launches with Méthode
Monday 12. October 2009 - The French regional daily has begun production of its 24 print editions using EidosMedias multi-edition editorial and publishing platform.
Based in Grenoble in the Rhône-Alpes region of southern France, Le Dauphiné Liberé is one of the leading French regional dailies.
Le Dauphiné Liberé has now moved production to EidosMedias editorial and publishing platform, Méthode.
Published in 24 local editions, with contributions from 40 local offices, the paper makes full use of Méthodes powerful multi-edition functions. Staff in the central newsroom and local offices are able to share a common editorial planning space in which the papers complex multi-edition structure is easily and efficiently managed.
“We were extremely impressed by the speed with which we were able to roll out our operations on the new platform,” said Christophe Tostain, managing editor. “We completed transfer of all our regional editions, including supplements, in a remarkably short time.”
“Le Dauphiné Liberé achieves truly local penetration over an extremely wide geographical area,” said Gérard Perrier, EidosMedia country manager. “Managing that level of detail on a daily basis is challenging and we are very satisfied that Méthode has proved equal to the task.”
The Méthode platform serves a total of 265 editorial staff, replacing a suite of solutions supplied by Datox.
