Krones line analyses for enhanced productivity
Wednesday 16. September 2009 - A line analysis from Krones AG, Neutraubling, Germany, is a highly effective cost-cutting tool for optimising an existing bottling or canning line. It identifies weak points and improvement potentials in production lines, so as to formulate solutions for increasing productivity levels. The production line is here scrutinised and evaluated in regard to the entire process involved, independently (and this is important) of the manufacturer involved or the firm to blame for the weak point.
By virtue of its vast experience, Krones is able, over and above the analysis as such, to also formulate, quote and implement solutional proposals and concepts for remedying any weak points identified. For lines with a lengthy history behind them, particularly, this can produce substantial gains in efficiency. A line analysis job culminates in a report that describes the analytical procedure adopted, presents the analytical data, appraises the line profile, and the line processes, and singles out the weak points and the improvement potentials.
From Krones, clients receive the entire analysis and the subsequent project implementation from a single source, The optimised line is then subjected to a performance test in conformity with DIN requirements.
