“Presstek DI-Dry is a proprietary formulation that offers significant benefits for owners of DI presses,” said Kathy McHugh, Pressteks Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “It has a heavier ink pigmentation density, which means using less ink while achieving truer colors and denser solidsin effect, getting more miles per gallon. Using less ink also facilitates a faster drying time for faster job turn around. And, in line with Pressteks commitment to environmental sustainability, DI-Dry contains more than 50 percent renewable content, also known as bio-derived raw materials.”
Presstek DI-Dry ink will be demonstrated on Presstek 34DI and 52DI-AC digital offset presses at Pressteks Booth 3646 at the Print 09 show. The ink is designed for use on Presstek-branded and Presstek-enabled DI digital offset presses, including the Presstek 52DI and 34DI, as well as the Ryobi 3404 DI and Heidelberg QMDI presses.
