Preview – Schur Wamac lead the way at Ifra Expo 2009 – stand B410
Thursday 10. September 2009 - At Ifra Expo Schur Packaging Systems presents an extensive range of cost effective solutions for mailroom, direct mail handling and palletising. With the acquisition of IDAB WAMAC we have consolidated our position as a major supplier to the newspaper printing industry with a wide range of flexible systems and services that can be adapted to all business sizes.
At IFRA Expo we will present for the first time the high speed inserter A1455. This inserter A 1455 is the result of combining high speed inserting technology from IDAB WAMAC with Schur hopper technology. The inserter A 1455 can run with or without overlap and can be equipped with up to forty hoppers. Supplements are fed manually or automatically from a storage system. Thanks to the smooth inserting process with only two transfer points and easily adjustable hoppers, we can offer the market an optimum inserting concept based on well known and proven technology. Five A 1455 inserting systems have already been sold in Germany, four to Druckcentrum Rhein Main and one to Schwerin.
Furthermore, we will introduce the Box Loading System, a newly developed product for distribution of printed products in foldable large containers so called FLCs. The system automatically stacks products coming from a packaging line or a subscriber machine and puts them in the containers for further distribution. The Box loading system is easy to integrate, operate and can automate this traditionally manning intensive activity. 16 Box Loading Systems have been sold to France Routage in Paris and will be up and running during this autumn.
Last but not least we present a new generation of strappers both on-line and stand alone models.
