SOUTHERNPRINT AND WYNDEHAM ANNOUNCE NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR WEB OFFSET DIVISION
Wednesday 02. September 2009 - Following the recent acquisition of Southernprint, Walstead Investments announces a number of changes to the management team of the Southernprint and Wyndeham web offset businesses.
As a result of these changes Lee Godwin, Sales Director; Daniel Barnett, Customer Service Director; and Paul Toms, Operations Director, will assume responsibility for these functions at Wyndeham Heron and Wyndeham Impact in addition to their existing roles at Southernprint. Daniel Barnett and Paul Toms will now report directly to Paul Utting, and Lee Godwin will report to Dave Emeny, Wyndeham Group Sales Director. Ian Tarrys role as Group Operations Director remains unchanged. Charles Jarrold, Managing Director of Southernprint has decided to leave the company and will depart after an agreed handover period.
Paul Utting, Chairman of Southernprint and Chief Executive of Wyndeham Press Group said: “This reorganisation is in line with our strategy to have boards of directors responsible for a number of compatible companies rather than individual sites. I am therefore delighted that Lee, Daniel and Paul have agreed to take on these wider roles which will build upon the strengths of the groups three web offset businesses. Following a group wide review we are disappointed not to have found a suitable role for Charles. We would like to wish him all the best for the future.”
Charles Jarrold, Managing Director of Southernprint, said: “Paul Utting and I have spent a considerable amount of time reviewing how the Southernprint management structure should be developed following the acquisition by Walstead. Southernprint has a very strong management team and I am proud that these individuals have been rewarded with more senior roles within the Walstead group. Whilst I am sorry to be leaving I fully support the changes and believe they represent the best opportunity for the business.”
